HS Series FAQ: What distributors need to know

about Paradis Lifts solutions

For over 15 years, we were the ones in the pits, adjusting doors and upgrading components that didn’t meet our standards. We saw firsthand how “standard” lifting solutions often left installers frustrated and maintenance teams overwhelmed. This practical, “hands-on” history is what drives us today.

“The main idea is to take care of those like us. The installers and the maintenance technicians, who are constantly giving their attention to every detail to keep the movement going,” says Povilas Mizgaitis, Head of Export at Paradis Lifts.

Based on this philosophy, we have prepared answers to the six questions most frequently asked by our global distribution partners.

-> Why is your equipment easier to install in challenging buildings?

For a distributor, this means a wider pool of potential clients. Having worked as installers ourselves, we were all too familiar with the limitations of conventional lifts, particularly the need for deep pits and high headrooms. The HS Model requires a minimal pit of only 400 mm and a headroom of 2400 mm. This allows you to provide solutions for existing structures where other manufacturers might be forced to decline the project.

-> Can I trust your team’s competence and expertise?

Trust is the foundation of our partnerships. Our strength lies in our background across various sectors. As Povilas explains: “Having the competencies from various lifting equipment sectors – from forklifts to lifts, it turned out to be the synergy that is a huge advantage for us”.

We do not view manufacturing as a simple task; it is a process we are fully committed to. “Determined to perfect the product and on a productive path to achieve it. It is not a simple task, nor is it taken lightly within the company,” says Povilas. You can get to know our team better here: paradislifts.com/meetourteam.

-> How do you ensure compliance with rigorous international standards?

Our high internal standards make international expansion seamless. According to Povilas: “Lithuania has a strict approach to lift requirements, which means it is generally ready for most markets by default. With minimal localisation efforts, it can be quickly prepared for most new markets”. This reduces the regulatory burden on you as a distributor when entering new territories.

-> What are the load capacities and technical performance of the HS series?

We offer two primary models to help you respond flexibly to your clients’ needs:

  • HS1: Ideal for light industrial and retail applications, with a load capacity of up to 1.5 tonnes and a platform size of 1,5m x 3m.
  • HS2: Our heavy-duty “workhorse,” with a load capacity of up to 3 tonnes and a platform size of up to 3mx4m. Both models feature a Soft Start and Stop system to ensure smooth movement and protect sensitive cargo , along with automatic re-levelling for safe loading.

-> Can I offer customised solutions for specific client visions?

Absolutely. We understand that “standard” solutions often fall short of modern market expectations. We provide extensive customisation options, from various door types (panoramic, fire-resistant) to a wide range of wall, floor, and ceiling finishes. This enables you to tailor the lift to a client’s specific aesthetic vision or industrial environment.

-> How does remote diagnostics reduce maintenance costs?

For a distributor, this translates directly into higher profitability and fewer unnecessary site visits. Povilas notes: “The ability to see the cabin’s position and status remotely makes a night-and-day difference for our maintenance technicians, enabling them to take proactive measures to ensure smooth operation and a long lifespan for the lift”.

Our controller enables:

  • Live Monitoring: Real-time tracking of speed, positioning, and safety elements.
  • UCM-Testing Operation: Allows for the safe simulation of an Unintended Car Movement event through the controller, without physical intervention in the safety circuit.
